Utah's Stetson Wright Earns All-Around Championship At National Finals Rodeo

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – He’s the first cowboy from Utah to win the All-Around Championship at the National Finals Rodeo since 1987.

Stetson Wright, 20, of Milford, nabbed the honor Saturday, the Deseret News reports.

The title of All-Around Champion is awarded to the person who earns the most money competing in multiple events during the season.

Wright comes from a family of rodeo competitors — he’s the son of two-time World Champion Cody Wright and his older brothers have competed in the NFR saddle bronc competition.
